Privacy Policy

Last updated: April 1, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how EpicTop100 (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use the website and services at epictop100.com (the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to this policy.

1. Information we collect

Account and profile data. If you register, we collect the information you provide, such as email address, display name, and password (stored using one-way hashing—we do not store your password in plain text).

Server listings and UCP content. When you add or manage game servers, we store the details you submit (for example, names, descriptions, URLs, banners, categories, and related metadata) to display and rank listings.

Voting and anti-abuse data. To enforce vote cooldowns and protect the Service, we process technical identifiers such as IP address and related request data in connection with votes and similar actions.

Contact and communications. If you use our contact form or email us, we receive the content of your message and your email address (and any other information you choose to include).

Authentication and security. We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in (for example, session tokens managed by our authentication system) and to secure the Service. Where enabled, we may use Cloudflare Turnstile or comparable services to reduce automated abuse; those providers may receive limited technical data needed to perform that function.

Logs and diagnostics. Like most websites, our servers and infrastructure may automatically collect information such as browser type, referring URLs, timestamps, and error data for security, reliability, and troubleshooting.

2. How we use information

We use the information above to operate and improve the Service; create and manage accounts; display rankings, votes, and server listings; communicate with you (for example, account verification, password reset, and responses to inquiries); detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, and security issues; comply with law; and enforce our Terms of Service.

3. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with service providers that assist us (for example, hosting, email delivery, security, and anti-bot services), subject to appropriate safeguards. Server listing information you choose to make public on the Service is visible to other users as part of the site. We may disclose information if required by law, legal process, or a good-faith belief that disclosure is necessary to protect rights, safety, or the integrity of the Service. If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this policy or equivalent protections.

4. Retention

We retain information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Some technical records may be retained for a limited period for security and analytics in aggregate or de-identified form where appropriate.

5. Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your personal information, or to object to certain processing. You may update some account information through your user control panel where available. You may contact us via the contact page to exercise applicable rights or ask questions. We may need to verify your request before responding.

7. International users

The Service may be operated from or processed in the United States or other countries where our providers operate. If you use the Service from outside those regions, you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in countries that may have different data protection laws than your country.

8. Children

The Service is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have collected information from a child, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps.

9. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and revise the “Last updated” date. Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy, to the extent permitted by law.

10. Contact

For privacy-related questions, contact us through the contact page.
